Who are you? | Katie Hulbert

Many times people have unrealistic expectations for us. We often, and realistically, can’t meet those demands and it causes us to question ourselves. Life’s circumstances will also dictate your value and your worth. In psychology we have a term called, “peeling the onion” which is analogous to our identity. When you strip away your external roles and expectations and continue to ask yourself, “who am I without those roles?” you may be surprised at how you truly view yourself. If your belief system is negative, refute those thoughts and redefine who you are. You have the right and the responsibility to be true to yourself. Who are you?

Author, Katie Hulbert reviews her book, GURL Please: A reformed people pleasers guide to finding your voice. This book gives you the tools and techniques you need to answer the question, “Who are you?” This is also a workbook that will help you pinpoint some of your faulty beliefs and allow you to identify who you truly are.
